1. What is a certified translation?
We get this question on a daily basis. A certified translation is one performed by a professional translator, who attests in writing to the completeness and accuracy of the translation. In some cases, you may be asked to make sure this certification is notarized.
2. What is a notarized translation?
A notarized translation is one in which the translator swears in front of the notary that the translation is complete and accurate. The notary charges a fee for this service.
3. Do I need the translation notarized?
Many official institutions, including most universities, require translations to be notarized. However, the USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) no longer requires notarized translations.

5. Do you need to see an original or certified copy?
No. We work with any legible/scanned copy of your document. The fastest way to get started is to email us the document. You can use a scanner or even a digital camera to take a high-quality photo of your certificate or other document. Also the USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) no longer requires original documents.
6. How will I receive my certified translation?
TransMean can send you an electronic copy (PDF) as soon as it’s ready. For a notarized translation we can mail the document from our Islamabad Office to anywhere in the world (courier/delivery charges may apply according to destination).
7. How long does a certified translation take?
Kindly send us your document for a free quote and estimated time. Normally 1-page or 2-page document takes just a couple of days, but it does depend on your desired language.
Please note that the notary’s signature will delay delivery of your translation by at least one business day.

We will include an electronic invoice you can pay securely online with any major Credit Card or Payoneer. Once we receive the payment, we’ll get started and you’ll have your certified in just a couple of days.

13. How much does it cost?
For certified translations, the cost depends on the amount of pages translated. Our cost is $24.99 per page. A page is defined as 350 words or fewer including numbers on a single sheet. Unsure of your page count? Request a quote.
An excess of 350 words on a page would be considered additional pages and priced accordingly at the same rate of $24.99 per every 350 words.
